Start with the mode, then keep the whole studio workflow.

Frame the important detail

Crop and move the focus before conversion so the subject receives the stitches instead of an empty or busy edge.

Compare complexity deliberately

More stitches and colours can preserve gentle shading, but they also add chart pages, similar symbols and thread changes.

Edit the chart, not the source

After preview generation you can recolour, erase, draw, add advanced stitches, track progress and prepare the same shared exports as every other mode.

Conversion is a stitch-grid interpretation, not a promise of perfect photographic accuracy.

Useful answers, not a thin mode variant.

Does my source photo leave this browser?＋

No. The browser reads the photo locally. Only a validated chart document is saved if you explicitly choose cloud sync or purchase recovery.

Should I choose more stitches and colours?＋

Only when they preserve a detail you care about. Larger grids and palettes can improve shading, but they also increase time, thread changes and chart complexity.

Can I edit the generated photo chart?＋

Yes. The preview is a real Pattern Studio chart, so you can recolour, erase, draw, add supported advanced stitches and track progress before export.
