Start with a sharp, well-lit photo where the face fills much of the frame. Check eyes, nose and ears before simplifying colours. A busy background or blurred face may need a different photo.

No. StitchMosaic reads the image in your browser and discards it when you close the tab. We never see or store your photo.
What size should my photo be?＋
Clear, well-lit photos with one main subject work best. A square crop is not required; the chart keeps your original proportions.
Can I print on A4 or US Letter?＋
Yes. Pick A4 or US Letter before generating. The paid PDF includes a print-ready chart and a separate symbol chart.
Can I start without a photo?＋
Yes. Create a text chart with either stitch font, open a blank drawing canvas, or generate a locally encoded QR chart.
What do I receive after unlocking?＋
A paid unlock provides the print-ready PDF, colour and symbol SVG, PNG preview, full and advanced-stitch inventory and combined ZIP bundle. You can save an editable .stitchmosaic Project backup for free before paying.
