How it works

A small, private studio in your browser.

StitchMosaic creates a real grid of editable stitches, then gives you the information needed to make it by hand. Photos, text and QR values are processed locally while you explore.

01

Choose a starting point

Use a local JPG, PNG or WebP conversion, set text in one of two stitch fonts, open a blank canvas, or encode a QR value. The source input stays in your browser.

02

Set your intention

Photos support Small, Standard, Detailed or custom dimensions and 2–36 colours. Text, blank and QR charts choose their own exact grid; every mode supports fabric count and paper size.

03

Tune and read the chart

Review the colour or symbol chart, then draw, erase, recolour or place half, quarter, backstitches and French knots. Photo charts also flag isolated areas; QR cleanup stays disabled to preserve modules.

04

Export when it feels right

Unlock once for a tiled, print-ready PDF and editable SVG, or save a versioned .stitchmosaic project file to move the chart without uploading the source photo.
